Rawat: Many thanks to Comrade Azar for participating in this interview. The Islamic Republic of Iran carried out the repression and killing of protesters at the beginning of this year in an incredibly bloody manner; so much so that even the state-run "Ofoq" television did not hide that hospitals could no longer accommodate the bodies and the bodies were being stored in refrigerated trucks. The American magazine "Time" estimated the number of those killed at 30,000, but apparently the real number is much higher and some estimate it at up to 60,000, hundreds of whom are children under the age of 18. Our question is: What is the reason for all this brutality? And where is the crisis in relations between the Islamic regime and the masses of the Iranian people heading?

Azar Majedi: The Islamic Republic is a criminal and brutal dictatorship. Therefore, no amount of violence and crime on the part of this regime is surprising. The people of Iran, especially we communists, have experienced the violence and brutality of this regime firsthand. Our comrades were subjected to the most violent tortures in the regime’s prisons in the 1980s, hanged or even buried alive. Many of them lie in mass graves. So, no amount of violence from this regime is strange to us.

However, political awareness and human responsibility dictate that we scrutinise the events. State terrorism, the US and Israel, Mossad and the CIA helped to escalate the bloodshed in the recent protests in Iran. The sinister role they played led to a much greater increase in number of deaths, destruction and chaos. This is not a so-called “conspiracy theory”. They themselves began to reveal their plans on Twitter and in the mainstream media, especially the Israeli media, from the very beginning. The Mossad encouraged people to take to the streets and promised to be with them. Israeli Heritage Minister Amihai Eliyahu declared: "When we attacked Iran during “Rising Lion” we were on its ... I can assure you that we have some of our people operating there right now.” Former CIA Director and former US Secretary of State Mark Pompeo wished the Mossad agents "a happy New Year" who "walk alongside the Iranian people." Numerous statements were made by Israeli politicians, Israeli television and media outlets spoke of Israel's involvement in the protests, and finally, a recent interview by the US Treasury Secretary in Davos provided ample evidence of Mossad and CIA involvement in escalating the chaos and tension in Iran.

This was apparently intended to escalate tensions to the point of preparing the conditions for a "regime change" (by the US and the West) in the form of colour revolutions in Iran. Reza Pahlavi was thrust to the front of the stage like a hero to announce his immediate plan to seize power, a plan for an absolute dictatorial monarchy. He claimed that the people had shouted his name in the streets and chosen him as their leader.*

However, it seems, for now, that this plan in their scenario for regime change failed. Of course, it is also possible that this failure was intentional with the aim of preparing the chaos and anger that can facilitate the war. In any case, this plan demonstrated their callousness, unscrupulousness, and corruption of the West and Israel. The recent killings of the people in Iran and the bitter and painful event exposed two dirty criminal monsters: the Islamic Republic, and US/Israel. It showed that none of the monsters care about the lives, will and hopes of the people. They do not spare any crime in pursuing their goals. People are nothing to them except tools and "collateral damage".

None of the official sources of information are reliable, neither the Islamic Republic nor the mainstream media in the West and the "charitable" organisations that are run in the West with funds from Western governments. It is very difficult to get to the truth.

These figures are not reliable at all. It is claimed that about 60,000 people were killed in the two days of January 7 and 8. These figures were published by the mainstream media and are said to be from an Iranian doctor living in the US and a close associate of Reza Pahlavi. Some have put the figure at over 30,000; the Guardian reported on January 28 that the number was over 36,000. Mike Flynn, former national security adviser to Donald Trump, has stated that the number of deaths by the end of January had exceeded 90,000. It seems that these "sources" are competing with each other to increase the number of deaths. How should we deal with these figures? Even one human life is precious. Even one death is a crime. Therefore, even the figure announced by the Islamic Republic, over three thousand people is a strong reason for the condemnation of the regime. Why do we need to exaggerate the figures? This method is to our detriment. We are supposedly defending humanity, but with these unrealistic exaggerations, we are trivialising the lives of the people who have been killed.

Recently, even Iran International TV, funded by Saudi Arabia and run by Israel, which initially announced a figure of over thirty thousand, was forced to significantly reduce this figure. We must question all news and sources so that our vision is not blurred by illusions and we do not fall into a pit of lies and traps. We must not lose our sense of proportion. A little reflection shows that the killings in street protests over two days cannot reach this figure with any amount of bullets and guns. Secondly, the same people who announce the victims of the two days of street protests in Iran as over 60 thousand, until a few days ago estimated the victims of the Gaza genocide at fewer than 60 thousand. Note that the number of deaths in two days of street protests against bullets and two and a half years of genocide with bombs, drones, tanks, hunger and frost is the same.

Rawat: US military forces have been deployed extensively to the Persian Gulf region and advanced radars have been deployed in Jordan to counter Iranian drones. A high level of war readiness is in place in the region. Donald Trump told the Iranian people: “Aid is on the way.” Countries like Saudi Arabia and Qatar are sceptical of the war and European governments say the Islamic Republic is in its final days. What is your view on this?

Azar Majedi: In my opinion, the risk of war is serious. Over the past three years, I have constantly warned about the risk of an imperialist regime change, war, and the Balkanisation or Iraqisation of Iran. My analysis has sometimes been met with disbelief. Some have called it a “conspiracy theory.” But now, unfortunately, this risk seems so real and imminent that many speak of it with disbelief and fear. To assess the extent of the risk, one must look at the longer-term plans and goals of US imperialism, Israel, and the West. For more than ten years now, top CIA and NATO officials have been revealing the US plan to bomb the region completely and destroy it. Rumsfeld's plan to bomb seven countries was announced after September 11, 2001: Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Sudan and Iran. Six of the countries on this list are now in ruins, with Iran being the only remaining target that has been bombed once.

The question we must ask ourselves is what separates Iran from the other six countries that we now optimistically think will get off the hook? Netanyahu has officially declared that Iran must be divided, vowing to launch a dark ethnic scenario in Iran and arm mercenary terrorist movements under the name of national rights. A senior Israeli military official declared on Israeli television during recent protests that Iran must be divided. They are talking openly about the Syria-isation of Iran. With these confessions and open threats, can we still bury our heads in the sand? Netanyahu announced Israel’s goal at the UN: with the help of the US and the West they are building a new Middle East and a Greater Israel. To reach this goal Iran must be bombed. In their view Islamic Republic has no place in this the new Middle East.

I believe that we are witnessing the last days of the Islamic Republic. But this possibility is not only exciting, it is also extremely worrying; because this destruction could be accompanied by the destruction of the entire society, all its structures and infra structure and the killing of millions. The Gulf countries are completely in the hands of the US and Israel. The UAE is now committing genocide in Sudan. Saudi Arabia has played a vital role in the regime change project in Syria and the killings in Yemen. Qatar has been financially supporting Hamas for more than twenty years now, under the direction of the US and Israel. These are obvious facts. The names of the sheikhdom emirs have been published on Epstein’s list. The projects to modernise Islam in the sheikhdoms are also moving forward with determination and publicity. But now that the threat of war and destruction has become serious and renewed, it seems that Saudi Arabia is wavering. Egyptian President El Sisy, who is a stooge, has started to complain about the role of Israel. It seems that they are beginning to worry about their own situation. Turkey, whose Islamic fascist government has benefited from all the US regime change projects in the region and played a decisive role in the destruction of Syria, is now panicking. It seems that Turkey has realised the danger of this scenario. Pakistan, a silent servant of America and a staunch supporter of Islamic terrorism, has also made its voice heard. They have felt the danger at their doorstep.

It is said that these hesitations and mediations have delayed the attack despite Israel's insistence. It remains to be seen. For now, the last negotiations on February 6th have reached a deadlock.

Rawat: Various bourgeois movements and a part of the people have tied their hopes and goals to American bombs; even some leftist parties and movements have such an approach. How do you evaluate the stance and policy of these movements?

Azar Majedi: I doubt that after the 12-day war in June, after the experience of the Israeli and American bombs that were dropped on the people, the bombing of Evin prison, the hospital, the killing of hundreds of people, including children, and the destruction of people's homes, any sensible person inside Iran would wish for American and Israeli bombs. The propaganda of the fascist right-wing movements, Israel and the US, the mainstream media, and Western governments are trying to instil the impression that the Iranian people want war. The pro-Israel and pro-American fascists are officially begging Trump and Netanyahu for a military attack and praying for a military attack in their demonstrations abroad and are attacking their opponents and communists with knives. They openly threaten their opponents with lynching, torture and death.

People are disgusted with this regime. They have suffered under this brutal regime for more than forty years. From the very beginning, this system was met with opposition, struggle and war. People have made numerous attempts to overthrow it. They have taken to the streets many times and made many sacrifices. It is quite possible that in these conditions of widespread poverty, economic and political pressures and violent repression, they have reached their limit and said that "things can’t get any worse" and therefore, in absolute despair, they surrender to the option of war. But with the experience of the  12 day war in June and the destruction of all the countries in the region, I do not think that this approach is widespread among the people.

Among the opposition forces, the fascist right-wing forces, the monarchists, the Kurdish nationalist movements, including Abdullah Muhtadi and the Democratic Party, are strongly propagandists and advocates of war. In a TV interview, Abdullah Muhtadi indirectly promoted the atomic bomb, citing the example of Japan at the end of World War II, which was bombed by the US and has now become "a united American democracy." Mustafa Hejri, the Secretary General of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran, was a war monger in a TV interview with CBS, wishing that Trump would drop the bombs as soon as possible so that the Democratic Party could also launch a military attack. Shirin Ebadi, a former pro-government reformist and Nobel Prize winner who presented her Nobel Prize to Khatami (the president) and offered to kiss his hand, has also called for US military intervention with similar arguments. These are mercenaries in the US and Israel's circle. They have no shame. In addition to these openly fascist movements, the party which calls itself "Worker-communist" has also openly joined this war-mongering camp. It advocates a military attack. It has signed a document with all these fascists for the transitional period of the regime change. Their leader has officially defended the US military attack on Venezuela and considered it to be in the interest of the Iranian people.

These trends must be exposed. They are wishing death and destruction for the people and society of Iran. They are the ones paving the way for war and slaughter. These are the Iranian Chalabis. The leftist and communist forces, the workers movement, and the freedom-loving people must rise up against these mercenaries. War has no other result than pain, suffering, death, and destruction. Freedom-loving, humanitarian, leftist, and workers must be mobilised worldwide to confront this dark and bloody project.

Rawat: Iran is in the midst of a major political and economic crisis. The workers and communist movements are facing a historic challenge. What are the priorities of this movement and parties in the current situation? And what are the internationalist tasks at this juncture?

Azar Majedi: The situation in Iran is very complicated. People are facing two bloody and savage enemies: the Islamic Republic and the imperialist terrorism of the United States and Israel. Confronting these two enemies simultaneously is a very complex and complicated matter. The leftist and communist movements must simultaneously organise themselves to confront the Islamic Republic and focus on exposing the dangers and the dark scenario of the US/Israel. Creating awareness is more important than anything else. People must prepare for possible dangers. Therefore, they must first see all the dangers and obtain a relatively accurate assessment of them. In the current situation, the most important and effective weapon of the people is organisation and solidarity. Dispersed people quickly fall into the trap of despair and surrender to any scenario. But awareness, preparation, and organisation help them to better equip themselves against dangers and, most importantly, not to despair. Conscious and organised resistance is of great importance.

Some are practically waiting for a miracle. In a situation where people are caught between two executioners and devilish enemies; in a situation where both have lurked to drag society into the abyss of war and destruction; in a situation where bombs are ready to fall and missiles are ready to be fired, some organisations or individuals are encouraging people to come to the streets against the Islamic Republic. In such a situation, a sense of responsibility requires encouraging and persuading people to organise and unite. People cannot stand empty-handed against bombs, machine guns and missiles and overthrow this monster and neutralise the bullying threats of America and Israel. People must be vigilantly prepared to confront the dangers and brutal injuries of war and attack from all sides. This is the key issue.

People want to overthrow this bleak and criminal regime and build a free, equal, and prosperous society. Throughout history, many people's efforts have failed. Over the past hundred years, the United States, Britain and the West have organised two coups and a regime change in Iran, and have suppressed the people's wishes and efforts to create a revolution. It seems that this time there is more awareness about the repressive efforts of the United States and the West, led by Israel.

The brutal events of the past few decades have opened the eyes of many. The complete destruction of the Middle East, the killing of millions, and the displacement of millions more, has exposed the nefarious plans of the United States and the West to spread destruction and occupation. Meanwhile, Netanyahu, with the full support of the US government and Western ruling class, has been continuing the Palestinian genocide, bombing and occupying the region for more than two years without interruption, and has openly declared that the plan for a new Middle East and a greater Israel is on their table. They are brazenly and openly talking about attacking Iran. More than a thousand people were killed in the previous attack. The plan to bomb Iran, such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Lebanon and Sudan, has been on the table of the US and Israel for more than two decades, and the CIA and Mossad are busy advancing it. Especially now, after the US attack on Venezuela and Nigeria and the threat to Cuba and Colombia, the danger seems greater.

A historic mission lies with the left and communist movements: to correctly analyse these conditions and find a way to prepare the people against both dangers. Organising people at all levels in general assemblies seems to be the best solution in the current critical situation. People united can maintain their hope in solidarity and unity and not despair. And this is the key.

The communist and workers movement must address the international left, workers and freedom-loving movement and ask them to stand with the struggling and courageous people of Iran and condemn the military attack on Iran.

Chomsky, a left-wing thinker and critic of the system or an infiltrator of the system in the radical left movement?

The relationship between Chomsky and Epstein

The revelation of Noam Chomsky’s name, a prominent American philosopher and thinker, on Epstein's list shocked many. Chomsky is/was the intellectual-ideological hero of the world's liberal left. For decades, his name has been on the top of the list of liberal left thinkers. Some leftist worshipped him. Now his friendship with Epstein, their meetings, and their close and personal emails have shocked the world.

He has previously reacted arrogantly and indifferently to these revelations. He saw his position as too strong to be damaged. But with the latest revelations, his wife has been forced to issue a statement that is an excuse worse than the sin. Apparently, Chomsky was ignorant of Epstein's dirty, criminal, and evil activities. Let's assume this claim is true; then how can a person with such low intelligence and awareness who has not even sensed the evil, filthy and criminal web around his friend to be recognized as one of the greatest thinkers and wise philosophers?

Chomsky was aware of Epstein’s legal case when he met him. Epstein became subject of a Palm Beach, Florida investigation after becoming accused of raping a 14 year old girl by her parents. Through the investigation Federal officials identified 36 girls, some as young as 14, who were allegedly raped.  Epstein’s conviction was significantly reduced, thanks to his close relationship with the heart of the power and the defence of Alan Dershowitz, the infamous corrupt Zionist lawyer with close ties to Mossad. He was offered what it’s been called a “Sweetheart deal.” Epstein pleaded guilty to “procuring a child for prostitution and soliciting a prostitute in Florida” and was sentenced to 13 months in Palm Beach County stockade with work release allowing him to leave during the day.

Chomsky couldn’t not know this because it was published; nevertheless, he maintained his close relationship. Before being imprisoned in 2019, Epstein sent an email to Chomsky and expressed his sadness after some of his horrific crimes were exposed and published in the media. Chomsky replies: “My heart is broken for you!” In other emails, Chomsky writes: “We are with you all the way” or “You are always in our thoughts and souls.” In an email Chomsky and his wife call their friendship “deep, intimate and abiding.”

He has been to Epstein’s Manhattan mansion many times and has travelled with Epstein on the “Lolita Express.” (If no one, Chomsky the philosopher and the greatest linguist should know what “Lolita” refers to and how filthy the connotation of this name is.) Through Epstein, Chomsky has met with Ehud Barak, former Israeli prime minister and former Mossad chief, Woody Allen, and several other world celebrities and powerful people. (All of this information has been recently leaked in documents and is available online until further notice.)

Now with so much evidence in hand, can any person who has not lost their mind, who has not been completely brainwashed, still claim that Chomsky was unaware of Epstein’s crimes? Didn't know that Epstein was at the head of the largest child trafficking ring, not only raping children, but also providing them as a trap for extortion to the most powerful and wealthy men and women in America and the world, taking photos and videos of them to use as evidence for extortion. According to the leaked documents, this child trafficking mafia's work was not only rape but also cannibalism and using children’s organs.

How is it that Chomsky, with his close association with Epstein for many years, his intimate knowledge of Epstein’s social environment, his suspicious infinite wealth and the news that had been published about him, did not doubt Epstein’s gangster status? Did Chomsky not suspect the extortion-espionage ring that Epstein was at the head of, which is called the "honey trap" in the terminology of intelligence agencies? Did he not know what enormous power Epstein had and how he was conspiring above the law and in the heart of the ruling classt?

Noam Chomsky was planted among left-wing thinkers, philosophers and movements to divert and dilute radical and militant movements. And he has successfully fulfilled this role throughout his academic and professional life. With the left-wing critical gesture, whenever a terrible secret of the ruling class was leaked, Chomsky was ready to dismiss and ridicule them as "conspiracy theories". I personally have never trusted him and I knew his destructive role to some extent. But it never occurred to me for a moment that the truth would be so dirty, dark and sickening.

The exposure of the filthy, stinking and evil empire of Epstein-Mossad-CIA-Rothschild and the Vatican is a powerful earthquake that will shatter the entire edifice of the superior Christian-Jewish civilization and culture of the West. This system is a global mafia for exploitation, murder and destruction, of which paedophilia is an integral part. In recent decades, many news stories have been published about the prevalence of paedophilia in the Vatican. Now the Vatican's connection to this mafia of child trafficking and murder has been revealed.

The role of the US military in kidnapping and raping children in all the countries it has ruled has also been revealed. The role of the US military in kidnapping children, especially boys, and raping them in Afghanistan under the name of “Bache Baazi” has been revealed. Many children were held captive in the barracks and were raped by American soldiers. Another secret has been revealed about Romania, how Erica Kirk, the widow of Charlie Kirk, who headed a charity for orphaned children in Romania, was trafficking Romanian orphans with the collaboration of US military. The Romanian government expelled her.

Once more it is bewildering how Chomsky could not have suspected Epstein’s crime.

Israeli flag is hurting not helping Israel

US/Israeli plot failed!

People’s just and angry protests against the Islamic Republic in Iran has become hostage in the hands of US/Israeli regime change agenda; such orchestrated plan to create chaos which resulted in more bloodshed and deaths.  

But they failed. From the beginning they started exposing their plans in their official tweets and in mainstream media, especially the Israeli ones. From Mossad encouraging people to come to the street and promising to be on the ground beside them to former CIA director and secretary of foreign affairs Mark Pompeo wishing Mossad agents walking side by side Iranian people, happy new year, to numerous declarations by Israeli politicians and recently the US secretary of treasury in an interview in Davos, there are plenty of genuine proof of Mossad and CIA involvement in escalating the chaos and tension in Iran.

Apparently, this was supposed to raise the tension to such a level that a regime change plan could be implemented, another colour revolution-like regime change. Reza Pahlavi was being promoted like a star. He was explaining his immediate plan for a takeover; his plan was “majestically” dictatorial. He was claiming that people have shouted his name on the streets and have chosen him as their leader, so, he is the chosen one, so to speak!

It only took a few days for him to come back and put some basic demands on the table and forget about his kingdom fantasy. The rightwing Persian speaking media in the West, BBC for example brought Iranian CIA agents to explain where they went wrong, what happened and why they failed. It’s pathetic how they are trying to justify their blatant miscalculations, or reckless actions which led to much more bloodshed and ruin. However, this can raise the question, whether this was a miscalculation and bad planning or deliberate action to create such chaos as to justify military action? The future actions will show.

They had promised that “they will be there to help” but they only deepened the danger for the people. Everyone from different spectrum of politics, have seen how spineless, opportunistic, stooge and evil they are. They have no concern for human lives, people’s suffering and pain. They showed their callousness when they begged Trump and Netanyahu to bomb Iran. They failed badly. How many more times can Israel and US save this Royal parasite who has no idea of what it means to work for a living. Everyone knows he is a professional gambler living a super luxurious life with the billions his parents stole.

Iran has proven to be a tough case, but why? You find the answer in who the Iranian fascists see as their main enemy in the path to power: The left, the communist movement. Isn’t this a wild exaggeration? No. Just look at their propaganda. Their focus on the left and the energy they spend in trying to badmouth them is unbelievable. Thousands of fake and real accounts on social media are using the filthiest language against socialists, trying to demonise and criminalise them. They try to blame the left for the coming to power of the Islamic regime, which was in fact brought to power by their master, America. If the left is as insignificant as they claim to be why has such active anti- communist campaign become necessary? This is a very basic question.

The power of the left is not in the amount of their wealth or arms; under the repressive rule that dismantles any effort for organisation, it’s not in its organisational strength either. The strength of the left lies in the depth of the society. Socialism as aspiration, goals and ideology is rooted in the society. That is why the monarchists and their promoters have, with no success, actively been trying for more than 3 years to impose themselves as the only alternative. Their aim is to organise a regime change in Iran to revive the fallen monarchy, the one CIA dismantled in order for people’s revolution of 79 not to succeed. It’s become a joke how many times in these past years Reza Pahlavi has come forward as the next leader and then had to move back to a more “humble” position. He and his followers have had no chance with the people. They’re unwanted. This is one of the main dilemmas of the US/Israel plan.

The West propaganda campaign was supposed to win the Iranian diaspora, people in Iran and the Western public opinion. It failed. All the public statements and bragging of Mossad and CIA interference and involvement and the intensity of violence and number of murders, were very quickly exposed. Their plan was widely condemned, so much so as they organised a damage control campaign by inviting so-called experts to their media outlets to analyse the errors.

Israel’s boasting of its involvement and praising Iranian people as “Westerners and white” did more harm to their project. It exposed their vicious and evil plan. People woke up to the truth that they were unwilling to accept. Unfortunately, it seems that people see two opposing enemies (Islamic regime and US/Israel) and call one the worst enemy and excuse the other. People start to “choose” the enemy according to which one has tormented them the most and is more hateful or simply according to how much they have been influenced by the dominant propaganda. This perspective creates myths and prepares our minds and the world for swallowing any lies and propaganda. This is the problem now. People of Iran rightfully hate this brutal regime so much and have fought time after time to push it back and topple it, so they tend to see the other pole the US and Israeli terrorism as friend or not so fatal. This is a very sensitive and tricky situation. But even this stumbling block has been pushed back.

One of the characteristics of this round of protest movement in Iran was that it very quickly escalated to an unprecedented level. Moreover, there were abundant speculations about Mossad and CIA interference, something not seen before. That’s why it was exposed so quickly. A tragedy created by two evil powers, two criminal and brutal entities that care about nothing but their power and greed, both are evil psychopaths.

Since 7^th October 2023 the Iranian fascists have been appearing in pro-Israeli/anti-Palestinian demonstrations with monarchist flag of lion and sun side by side the Israeli flag. The pact was made between Netanyahu and Reza Pahlavi in Jerusalem a few months before the start of the genocide in Gaza; a pact between “the son of Ibrahim and the son of Cyrus!” (Apparently as Karl Marx once said, history repeats itself, first as tragedy second as farce; clowns posing as historical myths.) However, the presence of Israeli flags in most Iranian diaspora protests in the west (except those organised by the left) has created a great deal of antipathy and concern for their movement and cause, among both Iranians and wider public. They have become discredited very quickly. They have become forced to justify and minimise the consequences.

American and Israeli support has become their Achilles’ hill. The protest in Brussels where US ambassador was speaking was the height of dissonance, disconnect and irrelevance to the aspirations and wishes of the people in Iran. Demonstrators holding Israeli and American flags and shouting: USA.

This first act of US/Israeli regime change plan seemed to have failed and damaged their credentials to a great extent. However, they are choosing the opportunity to promote military attack more openly. We need to stop this. We need to call on humanity to try and stop threats and attacks on the Iranian people. Attacking Iran first and foremost is an attack on the people of Iran, in much wider scale than the 12 day war in June.

Three weeks have passed since the beginning of the recent protests in Iran. This round of protests has grown and expanded rapidly. Many have been killed and injured. With the internet shutdown, it has become very difficult to access the news. The exact number of dead and injured is not reliable from any side. The news from the Islamic regime is as false as the news from the Western media*. The situation is very serious. The eyes of the world are fixed on Iran. Will this round of protests lead to the fall of the Islamic Republic? What options are available to the people?

Right-wing and fascist forces are roaming the Western media. Reza Pahlavi, the son of the Shah of Iran, is being promoted by all sides as the successor to the Islamic regime. The entire propaganda apparatus of Western governments is trying to present Reza Pahlavi to the people as the only practical and acceptable alternative. They are developing various narratives to satisfy every taste. Right-wing forces have been pushed to the front of the stage and are claiming leadership and succession. While holding the flags of the Lion and the Sun (The flag of the old monarchist regime) and Israel, they brazenly attack leftist forces and those opposed to monarchy and fascism. In the past few days, news has spread that a number of people have been injured by these thugs. They have already started their assault on people even before coming to power. These thugs are representing their fascist fathers Siaah Jaamegaan (meaning: dressed in black) who roamed the streets of Tehran with knives on the day of CIA coup d’état of 1953. This evil force is openly active outside Iran and clandestinely inside Iran. 

 

The excitement of the imminent fall of the Islamic Republic, along with anxiety about the future, dominates the atmosphere. People have come out with all their deep hatred for this criminal regime. Hunger, poverty, repression and crime have exhausted the patience of the people. This is not the first large-scale mass protest in Iran. Especially in recent years, mass protests, workers’ protests and strikes have become an inseparable part of life. Women’s rights movement de facto abolished forced Hejab. The Islamic Republic is trying with all its might to suppress and push back this wave of protests. The battle between the people and the regime is underway with force. It seems that this will be the last battle of the Islamic Republic. However, it should be noted that the fall of the Islamic Regime can take different forms. 

Several scenarios are emerging. Many dangers threaten the people's movement for freedom, equality, and prosperity. We must recognize the dangers and begin to organise a conscious and radical movement for a revolutionary overthrow of the Islamic Republic. People want to overthrow this bleak and criminal regime and build a free, equal, and prosperous society. Throughout history, many people's efforts have failed. Over the past hundred years, the United States, Britain and the West have organised two coups and a regime change in Iran, and have suppressed the people's wishes and efforts to create a revolution. It seems that this time there is more awareness about the repressive efforts of the United States and the West, led by Israel. 

The brutal events of the past few decades have opened the eyes of many. The complete destruction of the Middle East, the killing of millions, and the displacement of millions more, has exposed the nefarious plans of the United States and the West to spread destruction and occupation. Meanwhile, Netanyahu, with the full support of the US government and Western ruling class, has been continuing the Palestinian genocide, bombing and occupying the region for more than two years without interruption, and has openly declared that the plan for a new Middle East and a greater Israel is on their table. They are brazenly and openly talking about attacking Iran. More than a thousand people were killed in the previous attack. The plan to bomb Iran, such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Lebanon and Sudan, has been on the table of the US and Israel for more than two decades, and the CIA and Mossad are busy advancing it. Especially now, after the US attack on Venezuela and Nigeria and the threat to Cuba and Colombia, the danger seems greater.

 

"Regime change" or revolutionary overthrow?

This term was coined by George Bush after the attack on Iraq. It refers to the forcible overthrow of unwanted regimes by the US. Two new examples of regime change occurred in Nepal and Bangladesh. Within a few weeks of mass protests, especially by the younger generation, the US changed the ruling regime. This danger also faces the Iranian people. There are various options:

1- Topple the Islamic regime and restore the old regime headed by the Shah's son. In the past hundred years Pahlavi family has been brought into power and removed from it several times by MI6 and CIA. For three years now, they have been launching Reza Pahlavi in ​​various forms; a complete mercenary who has lived a decadent and overabundant life in America for 47 years with the money stolen by his parents. But their problem is that even some CIA and Mossad agents and Trump himself have admitted that he has no chance. 

People do not want him. The monarchy, Pahlavi and the old regime have no popularity among the people. American and Israeli mercenaries are trying to bring him to the forefront, but he is not being welcomed by the people. After the summer attack on Iran, Reza Pahlavi has become even more hated. Begging the US and Israel to continue bombing after killing more than a thousand people and attacking Evin prison (for political prisoners) exposed his ugly face even more. The bitter irony is that this arrogant and puppet "prince" declared in a television interview, when asked if he was responsible to call on the people to take to the streets in these dangerous circumstances; he replied: "This is war, and war has a cost!" It means that people are going to pay the cost of this war with their lives so that this gentleman, who is sitting comfortably in the safety of his palace, can come and sit on the throne of power.

The ex- moderate Islamists, who used to passionately defend the regime and just ask for some crumbs have now turned against the regime and joined the other fascist camp, the US alternative. Among them, Nobel laureate Shirin Ebadi is now calling for US military intervention with a similar argument. Such bitter irony, Shirin Ebadi, similar to Maria Corina Machado presented her prize to the Islamic president of the time, Ayatollah Khatami and offered to kiss his hand. Reza Pahlavi and the right-wing fascists have no chance among the people, unless they are imposed upon the people by force of bombs.

 

2- Creating a dark scenario in Iran similar to Iraq, Libya or Syria is another dangerous and disastrous option that has been explicitly defended before and is still on the US agenda. Balkanising Iran, organising and arming groups of mercenaries under the names of different nationalities, Kurds, Turks, Baluchis and Arabs is another project that Netanyahu is explicitly talking about. Mustafa Hejri, the leader of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan of Iran, said in an interview with CBS News that he hopes the United States will intervene; specifically, attacks against Iran that "target the centres of the repressive forces that shoot people in the streets, as well as the so-called judicial institutions affiliated with the regime. We want to see the destruction of these institutions.” Regarding military action, Hejri said that “the time has not yet come, especially after President Trump backed down on his threats to intervene in Iran."  Abdullah Muhtadi, a Kurdish fascist nationalist, has officially called on the US and Israel to attack Iran. These mercenaries must be exposed and isolated with vigilance.

 

3- “Internal coup” is another option. Negotiations underway behind the scenes are likely to explore this possibility. Regime change from within with the direct role of a part of the Pasdaran and the army by eliminating the mullahs and declaring an alternative regime.

 

Revolutionary overthrow is the only popular option.

The overthrow of the Islamic Republic by an organised mass of people and the seizure of power by the people is the only way that can change the situation in favour of the people. We must focus on this option and prepare and organise ourselves for it. We must not allow the hope of the people to turn into despair and death, as happened in 1979. The Islamic Republic was put in power in Iran by the US, the CIA, the Mossad, and MI6 and ruined a great revolution. We must not allow history to repeat itself.

 

Is the danger of regime change real?

A few facts are enough to expose America’s goals. In addition to the brazen and frank statements by Trump and Netanyahu regarding the attack and bombing, former CIA Director and former US Secretary of State Mark Pompeo tweeted a few days ago, "Happy New Year to the protesters in Iran and the Mossad agents who walk alongside them!" He could not have spoken more clearly about the interference and sabotage of Mossad agents. Israeli media is openly talking about the necessity of attacking Iran and Israel's interference. They are openly declaring that Iran must be destroyed like Syria. And it was recently leaked that Israel has spend a lot of money creating fake accounts on social media to promote Reza Pahlavi.

 

US and Israel do not hide their determined intention to directly interfere in Iran and create a regime change. For example, one can ask: who gave permission to Masih Alinejad who is a CIA mercenary, to deliver a speech at the UN General Assembly on behalf of people of Iran? Has anyone asked the people whether they accept Masih Alinejad, Reza Pahlavi, and other puppets who have lined up to serve America, or not? The US and its allies are practically fabricating leaders. However their attempts have failed over the past three years. People do not want these mercenaries. People do not want another dictatorship, another system of oppression like the past three regimes of the last century. People want freedom, equality, justice and prosperity.

 

Foreign aid

This mercenary and fascist opposition and some people out of desperation talk about the need for foreign aid. What does foreign aid mean? A solidarity movement of the people of the world or aid from foreign governments, which one? It is clear that the Iranian people need international solidarity. But this “foreign aid” demanded by the rightwing forces is aimed at foreign governments. After the bloody history of occupations, destruction, coups, wars and regime changes by the US and the Western NATO governments, does anyone still have the illusion that these governments are acting in the interests of the Iranian people? We do not need to look at the history of the past several hundred years. The history of the past thirty years is enough to show us that looking to foreign aid means destroying the revolutionary uprising and the future of freedom that it promises. Strong wills, determination, perseverance, awareness, solidarity and organisation are our only tools. No revolutionary movement can achieve victory by relying on and alliance with the powers of force, repression and reaction.

 

We must try with all our might to prepare the people and society for a vital and serious battle to overthrow the Islamic Republic and neutralise the evil threats and plans of America, Israel, and the West. People are facing two terrifying and criminal enemies. We must note that the enemy of our enemy is not necessarily our friend. The Islamic Republic and American imperialism are both enemies of the people. Defending one because of hostility to the other is the greatest socio-political mistake. The people of the world have suffered great losses throughout history for such political mistakes. Despair can throw people into the arms of regime change. Excessive pressure on the people, hunger and poverty, repression, and killing, especially with the intensity and speed that is currently taking place in society, must be confronted with mass awareness and organisation. We are living in a historic, serious, and decisive moment.

* Especially over the past two years, the mainstream media in the West has lost a lot of credibility. A large part of the people have realised their lies and hypocrisy. The genocide in Palestine was the final nail in the coffin of the media. Lies and severe censorship have dominated news about the killing of Palestinians. This censorship has also exposed the double standards, hypocrisy and deep racism that dominate the media, i.e. the mouthpiece of the ruling class. There is no trust in these media. Moreover, the charities that report on Iran are based in the US and the West.
